As soon as possible. The ideal time is during the planning stage — before actual construction begins. Involving a designer early allows door and window openings, layouts, and structural elements to be planned correctly from the start, saving the cost of structural changes later.

It is in the client's interest to allow the designer to finalise most of the paperwork, identify materials, and confirm contractors before starting actual site work. Rushing the initial stages often leads to increased costs due to delays and ever-changing layouts.

Completion depends on various factors: the scope of work, choice of design, your ability to make decisions from the choices provided, level of planning done before construction, time at your disposal, and flow of funds.

Material procurement is generally left to our clients. However, if desired, we can assist in procuring quality material at the best possible price. We operate strictly on a fee-to-service basis and pass on all professional discounts and commissions to our clients, protecting their interests at all times.

At a retention fee (adjusted in the final amount), we take up site measurements, come up with options for the basic plan, and hold initial meetings to understand each other better. This helps us arrive at the final estimated cost based on your brief and requirements. Our fee is generally a lump sum or per sq.ft basis rather than a percentage, to avoid any influence on total project cost.

Certainly. Using a systematic approach, all items of work are clearly specified, quantified and budgeted. Prior to starting, we provide the client a final cost estimate. Where there is a limited budget, we work backwards and create the best possible design solution within the given cost. We are always steady to our clients' budgets.
